Keep Stepping

Ah, love. As one movie with cool songs in it was prone to saying: "The greatest thing you will ever learn is just to love and be loved in return."

I featured this picture, 1) becasue I'm obviously getting some attention for my SamBakZa stuff and 2) I really love the lighting, coloring, and general composition of this piece. So it's pretty much the best of both worlds.

Doki and Nabi from SamBakZa's "There She Is!" series.

Similar to my favorites gallery, my little chunk of the internet happens to be infested with a lot of crappy doodles and fanart. But, please, don't let that stop you. For I am also a desperate attention whore and require your love. Plus, I think I've gotten a lot better after four years (by some miracle.)

Random Favourites

My favorites gallery, full of way too much fanart, way too much sub-par art, and just, well, way too much. Not to say that it's all bad. But when you join a website when your thirteen, you eventually begin to regret your younger self.

I've finally finished cleaning this slush pile up (to an extent); pretty much everything I think is truly great can be found in the featured section. Don't just go in and look at my fav'd fanart, guys!

A Short Update on the Life of a Teenage Girl

Wed Jul 1, 2009, 8:37 PM
Heya, guys! How's it hanging? Summer treating you right? Having blast with your fancy beaches and trips to tropical islands and general rambunctiousness? Have you had a cook-out? Gotten a tan? LIVED????

Yeah, me neither.

On the other hand, I have partaken in some some-what interesting things, which I've decided are cool enough to share with you. Also, memes on the front page for too long make me look bad.

So, who wants to guess what I started taking a week ago? Go on, guess. If you said manic-depressive pills, you are totally, completely wrong (for now...). However, if you said "Figure drawing classes," you win the metaphorical prize! On my first day I learned two thing: 1) Never wear three inch wedges to figuring drawing, you will be standing all three hours you're there, and 2) I know absolutely nothing about figure drawing. Talk about being back in preschool. D: We didn't even use a medium I was familiar with (charcoal is very different from pencil lead).

I went to an extra curricular figure drawing cession on Tuesday as well, to get some extra practice. The difference between these two things being that the Tuesday one had no instructor, just a model that occasionally changed posses, I had to pay seven dollars to get in (The actual class that I'm going to was pre-paid. It's basically a really artsy summer camp), and the model was naked (the class I go to is for high school students, so the models wear bathing suits). That was a little weird, but you got over it surprising quickly. There were certain poses that were like "Jeez, that is an awful lot of man bits," but usually it was fine.

In other news, I went to a baseball game.

Yes, that is it.

I live such an eventful life, honestly. I can hardly stand it.
